I picked up Freddy Krueger in the year 2003. The Mummy came into my collection in 2007. People are scared of Freddy, by adding the scene of Freddy playing with someone, combining both into one scene they become scarier. | Freddy Krueger

I took a butler and added a few extras to make a monster. By putting a mask on him he became more scary to people. Throw a cape over his shoulders and add a skull to the dish. |

I got this body from Spencer. He is the living dead monster that shakes. I used lighting from the front to show him off. The light was on the floor shining up. |

Demon dog I got last year to, with unique tombstones. Throw in a foot for him to chew on and he becomes very nasty. By lighting him from the side to get in a strong profile and show off the foot. |

The vampire breaking the ground was lighted from the side. They showed off the profile better and showed his teeth. The snake just adds to the spookiness with a little mosque on the ground. |

The Demon was holding the cross in much pain With the light on it didn't look that spooky, this could be something you'd see at a store. then you turn off the light, and focusing one light and you can get this surprise.

Here you can see the difference lighting can make to scene. The lighting make this look spooky or chilling because everything is in strong contrast. the head in the second photo is just slightly visible making it look more gory. since you might not notice it at first, but then you take a closer look and realize what is.

This shows how you can build a graveyard in your house. Looking at the photo on the right you can see how I started. Building from the back to the front with what I had on hand. Using the boxes that I store my Halloween items, in to build the different levels in my graveyard of horror. |

This little town is called Spooky Town and I bought it at Michael's. As you can see that I have bin collecting for several years. By setting them up in the window I get people to approach the house. When you're looking in the window at the spooky town the lights come up on my graveyard to startle them. |

You can see how drab the photo on the left is because there are no shadows or highlights. By having all the light coming up from underneath it enhances the barbecued look. |

You can see how I used my own Windows to stage Halloween scene. In the left window I have two spiders one of which is trying to get out while the other is eating a body. In the right window you can see how I use Freddy Krueger with the mummy to develop a creepy scene. |

I took the gray demon from last year, and removed the cross. Replacing it with the severed arm, this gave it a new look. |

You can see how bleached out and dull he looks in the left photo. By highlighting his arms and claws it emphasizes almost movement. This makes him look like he is lunging at his food or you. |

You can see what you can get with lighting by comparing these two photos. The accessories just highlight what you’re trying to produce. |
